Description:

Lead the investment program sales and service support strategy on a national basis in order to support the development, acquisition and retention of profitable Group Savings & Retirement business.

  • Develop and implement the investment program sales and service support strategy for Customer Relationship Managers (CRM) and Manager, Business Development ( MBDs) in order to elevate their knowledge of investments and the Quality and Choice Program.
  • Develop and implement the investment program training strategy for CRMs and MBDs in order to elevate their knowledge of investments and the Quality and Choice Program.
  • Developing and nurturing excellent relationships with intermediary channels which include brokers and consultants.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and go to person for all investment related matters that may arise from MBDs and CRMs while assisting them in client review meetings and finalist presentations.
  • Act as the ambassador and spokesperson of the Quality and Choice Program within trade industry circles and for all of the most important constituencies.
  • Actively participate in activities related to the Quality and Choice Program which include manager monitoring, manager searches, portfolio construction initiatives and investment communication.
  • Source and provide competitive intelligence to the investment program team as it relates to the investment platforms of our major competitors.
  • Provide input to Head Office with respect to the development of investments and product design/features based on market trends, competitors and administrative requirements within the region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and collaborate with members of other business areas (for example: Strategy, Finance, Marketing and IT) and/or project team members to ensure effective development, deployment and marketing of new products and enhancements that best meet and align with Intermediaries and their clients’ needs within the Region.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Under graduate degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years investment experience (Client servicing and/or sales preferred).
  • Professional Designation – CFA required.
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken.
