To be successful in this role, the incumbent must provide specialized administrative services while performing further complex specialized administrative work in order to meet quality and service standards. Utilizes strong knowledge (depth and/or breadth) of products, systems and legislation to process data and create and maintain client data. Develops and maintains high levels of knowledge of relevant systems, legislation and products. 

  • Assess, approve and process claims for all individual and group products.
  • Provide information on claims related inquiries to claimants, barristers, lawyers, and field personnel and ensure claimants records are kept up-to-date.
  • Continually enhance product, services and industry knowledge in order to maintain and improve our level of customer satisfaction.
  • Support other teams in providing quality customer service, with a focus towards continuous improvement, and work in partnership with the Customer Service Centre to respond to clients’ needs that necessitated a “hand off”.


  • University degree or a College diploma with five (5) years of experience.
  • Knowledge of life insurance products.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial, legal and taxation requirements relating to Individual Savings and Retirement products. (an asset)
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken.
  • Detailed oriented.
