Description:

To be successful in this role, the incumbent must translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications. Coordinates and participates in the implementation process of approved strategic initiatives to ensure the achievement of expected deliverables within required deadlines and budgets.

  • Interviews clients to understand business requirements.
  • Assists in the understanding of internal clients' requirements by documenting their organizational direction, structure, business processes and requirements.
  • Monitors performance metrics, collects feedback, analyzes results and makes recommendations.
  • Identifies, analyzes and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and collaborates with members of other sectors (e.g. strategy, product development, marketing, Sales and IT), project team members and/or external providers to ensure the effective development and deployment of solutions/products.
  • Develops systems content to train key users of a database tool/application/enhancement.
  • Participate in building our framework for best practices, documentation and standardization for the business analysts’ teams.
  • Act as a coach and mentor for team members for all subjects within your expertise.
  • Identifies and reports weaknesses and applies controls to mitigate financial and operational risks. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree, with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a business analyst.
  • Proven experience working on implementations of new releases for web, back office, CRM, ECM, SharePoint applications.
  • Obtaining Business Analyst certification.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate (verbal and written) in both French and English.
