Reporting to the Senior Team Leader HR Operations, the HR Systems Consultant will be responsible for the ongoing support of the PeopleSoft HCM application. The incumbent will provide reports to the HR Functions and work with the Total Rewards and HR operations teams to review and optimize processes.

  • Identifies and clarifies business requirements to provide appropriate reporting solutions.
  • On a daily basis, develops/maintains reports and ensures reports production using a scheduler.
  • Provides systems support and users training to the HR functions and, liaise with IT for problem resolution, if required.
  • Creates and maintains HR PeopleSoft accounts for HR functions.
  • Communicates and evaluates impact of systems changes.
  • Responds to inquiries related to HR systems and escalate them, if required.
  • Performs analysis and recommends improvements where appropriate.
  • Collaborates on special projects, as directed. May lead the execution of simple mandates.
  • Develops their own knowledge and skills within their relevant area of HR, as well as in relation to the wider business, in order to provide appropriate HR support to the business.
  • Responsible for system operation in support to yearly processes.
  • Builds test plan and offers supports to user acceptances test for HR Systems


  • University degree in relevant field with 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of the PeopleSoft HR modules, specifically the reporting PeopleTools (Query Manager/SQL).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French & English are required. 
  • Excellent analytical skills and combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and faced paced work environment are required. 
  • Knowledge of payroll processes or other HR functions would be considered valuable assets.
