Senior Team Leader, Training & Learning

Reporting to the Organization Efficiency & Learning Manager, the Senior Team Leader will be accountable to develop, plan, deliver and monitor strategic Learning plans and development of programs to the different business functions. The incumbent support her-his manager in the implementation of a strong Learning delivery model and must be able to challenge and coach team members on training requests and projects, training programs and training schedules. The incumbent manage and organize training team, as well as establish and maintain a network to advocate for and support the different business functions managers and support the development of strong learning & training programs. More specifically, the incumbent will have to:

  • Manages the business learning team and overall learning priorities and activities while ensuring internal client satisfaction (functions and corporate).
  • Participates in the definition of  learning governance, policies and standards are applied within the business function and makes sure application.
  • Contributes actively to the elaboration of a business wide learning plan and budget attribution annually and recommends key priorities in line with SL’s orientations and growth strategies.
  • Selects and-or participates in defining selection criteria’s and certifies all learning employees, including technical instructors (in collaboration with business functions i.e. Customer Experience).
  • Coaches and supervises Senior Learning Consultants in learning project management.
  • Negotiates and prioritizes training plan based on capacity, and promote training within all functions of the company.
  • Analyses training results to improve programs and link training to impact on performance.
  • Participates in the development of the learning strategy, plans delivery and implementation of learning delivery model.
  • Leads major training projects.
  • Works in collaboration with the Senior Learning and Leadership consultant and Organization Development Consultants in the elaboration of competency profiles and suggests learning strategies and programs in link with job structures and job categories.
  • Works in collaboration with Group Learning teams to leverage common and corporate practices.


  • University degree in HR or in Education and a combination of 10 years of relevant experience and a managerial experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of training theories, methodologies and techniques (e-learning and others).
  • Analytical skills and the ability to assimilate technical information and new technology.
  • Leadership, visionary, proactively, relator.
  • Learnig Manager.
  • Bilingual, French and English, Written and Spoken.
