Senior Consultant, Organizational Effectiveness & Learning

Description:

Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Organizational Effectiveness and Learning, the incumbent will contribute to the definition of the learning framework (policy, governance, standards, priorities) and its implementation throughout the Company. He will offer expertise to the Organizational Development and Learning team. He will have to use his influence with leaders and other functions to agree on best solution to deliver optimal training programs. He will lead key learning processes with appointed client groups and influence the corporate annual learning planning cycle.

  • Contribute to defining the learning framework and implement it throughout the Company.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with Managers and client groups to acquire business knowledge in order to have the ability to listen and understand the training requests to analyze and challenge business partner on need, objectives and methodology.
  • Conduct needs analysis and design overall learning plans in alignment with strategy of the organization
  • Have the required training programs/plans (identified by the business strategy and the Team leaders) delivered.
  • Reach agreement on training request (SLA) based on priorities and capacity and promote training within the appointed business areas.
  • Evaluates learning solutions and results to improve programs and link training to impact on performance.
  • Lead major training projects and conduct learning activities, workshops, roll-out business areas or corporate initiatives.
  • Provide learning consultancy and expertise to client groups, other training teams and managers.
  • Participate in organizational development initiatives such as the design and implementation of toolkits, creation of competency profiles, facilitation of group activities, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in HR, Adult Education or instructional design and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to work with different client groups including leaders and managers.
  • Experience in developing learning framework (policy, tools, corporate templates).
  • In depth knowledge in a learning/training consultancy role. Must be up to date in new trends related to adult education and methodologies.  
  • Experience in the development of instructional tools, techniques, learning assessments tools, blended learning solutions, e-learning, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge and application of training needs assessments, evaluation and measurements. 
  • Experience in leading and facilitating the learning and development components of organizational change programs.
  • Strong ability to influence.
  • Ability to translate business plan outcomes into learning strategies, plans and frameworks.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills (for a range of purposes and audiences).
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken.
