Description:

The consultant will develop and implement various targeted marketing communications strategies while ensuring that the brand guidelines and marketing positioning are respected. In addition, this person will manage the annual media plan execution working closely with the advertising agency.  Areas of Marketing Services may include Brand Leadership; design, delivery and effectiveness of Marketing Communications; Marketing Strategy and Planning; Digital Marketing and ad hoc marketing activities.

  • Responsible for managing media buys with agency.
  • Manages execution of corporate or line of business campaigns; from briefing to final material delivery.
  • Works in partnership with the internal studio or external suppliers (eg. agencies) in the production of print and online campaigns.
  • Ensures all developed materials follow brand guidelines.
  • Assists the Senior Consultant, Marketing Communications in branding matters within the Marketing team.
  • Monitors budgets and invoices to ensure amounts are verified and finalized in a timely manner.
  • Independently runs marketing campaigns in order to ensure that products/services/brands are properly exposed to the marketplace.
  • Ensures that content is in line with overall Marketing strategy and that products/services/brands are properly exposed to the marketplace.
  • Monitors marketing strategies and trends, initiates/implements improvements and evaluates their impact and effectiveness.
  • Manages relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure a high quality integrated service is provided on time and on budget.
  • Analyses relevant management information and makes recommendations to assist business decision making.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in marketing or communication.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in developing marketing communication campaigns.
  • Experience in financial or banking industry is an asset.
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken.
