Description:

To be successful in this role, the incumbent must act as an internal consultant for line-management and various stakeholders in a specific business learning field of expertise. The incumbent must efficiently plan and organize and implement training and development programs for his attributed clientele that support the organization's initiatives. Must also participate in team learning activities, as well as the implementation of the organizational model of learning management.

  • Provides guidance, advice and insights to HR generalists and various stakeholders on matters related to Learning.
  • Participates in the identification and prioritisation of learning needs for attributed lines of business and provides recommendations with regards to planning their training initiatives.
  • Designs overall learning plans and recommends integrated learning frameworks and activities aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensures the proper application of the existing policies and practices related to their HR field of expertise.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of policies and practices in order to recommend enhancements in accordance with best HR practices and business objectives.
  • Analyzes and evaluates the impact of training to ensure that the client’s needs and objectives are respected, as well as the appropriateness of the course and content.
  • Independently performs analysis to assist decision-making while ensuring the accuracy of results.
  • Acts as a reference for less experienced employees. May be called upon to help and/or train less experienced employees.
  • Manages projects and interventions for the development and implementation of new learning solutions and/or acts as a key resource in large-scale projects.
  • Applies instructional design methodology to develop complex trainings, including tools, materials and course content, aligned with business objectives.
  • Actively demonstrates knowledge and skills in their own field (depth) and/or broad knowledge of other fields (breadth).
  • Identifies implements and maintains controls to mitigate financial and operational risks. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in consulting and development of learning solutions for various types of clients.
  • Extensive knowledge and use of learning needs analysis and design methods.
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective learning solutions and influence various audiences.
  • Experience in project management for training and collaborative working relationships.
