Contribute to the achievement of goals and objectives by providing support to the team in various capacity based on needs and requirements performing activities that could range from backfill to project work. Assist in streamlining the administrative process in and for the assigned area.

The Student assists the immediate supervisor and/or fellow team members in the following tasks:

  • Undertake routine daily tasks including opening and distributing mail; photocopying; faxing, general typing and distributing papers ensuring that information is prepared on time, correct and readily available.
  • Apply a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies.
  • Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports or to access and/or update customer records.
  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Provide correct and prompt information to inquiries from customers.
  • Undertake basic data input/retrieval and run straightforward or routine reports.
  • Assist in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
  • Provide quality customer service in a prompt and courteous manner. Respond to customer requests and questions regarding service, products and account information.
  • Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
  • Review costs and performs cost benefit analysis related to projects and/or programs or performs statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various systems.
  • Conduct market research using a variety of techniques such as surveys and comparison to competitors’ product.
  • Support the development and distribution of marketing and sales materials.
  • Participate in studies to improve the operational and financial effectiveness.
  • Prepare complex reports or forms, maintaining records or files, interpreting data, resolving routine problems, or answering questions.


  • Must be an enrolled student in a recognized institution (College/CEGEP, University).
  • Bilingual, French and English, Written and Spoken.
