Analyst, Expense Reimbursements and Accounts Payable

Description:

Your role will be to monitor and control the accuracyof expenses recorded and approved within our provider’s integrated system, Concur as well as the supplier payment requests, while ensuring compliance with the internal Expense Management Policy (‘’Expense policy’’). You will also be responsible to ensure payments requests are processed accurately in a timely manner, in adherence to establish internal controls.

  • Treasury activities to maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Manage the expense report submission and approval timeline to ensure the timeliness of payments issued to the corporate credit card provider avoiding penalties and late fees.
  • Apply organizational policies and assure adherence to departmental procedures.  
  • Identify irregularities and follow up with all levels of management and staff as appropriate. Reporting non-compliance issues to management.
  • Train users on the efficient use of the Concur system and the expense re-imbursement process.
  • Act as the main contact for all employees who need assistance on using the Treasury forms.
  • Recommend changes to the Expense policy.
  • Support the Treasury team in the approval process of payments to clients, employees, suppliers and government bodies using diverse payment methods Actively participate and support initiatives and special projects. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree (Accounting or Finance).
  • Accounting designation, or in the process of obtaining one, an asset.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Bilingual, French and English, spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of banking requirements (CPA) and related procedures, an asset.
  • Quickly establish good interpersonal relationships with peers and all management levels.
  • Demonstrate a great concern for data accuracy and high efficiency with regard to work organization and planning.
  • Decision Quality.
  • Communication skills and a customer service focus.
