Senior Consultant of Management Information Reporting

The Senior Consultant, Management Information Reporting must provide guidance, advice and insights to stakeholders regarding financial results and management information. Must have a full understanding of financial results and prepare or review presentations for Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

  • Performs complex, regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting and communicates results (clear and reliable conclusions, trends and variance analysis) in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines, accounting and industry standards.
  • Prepares or reviews monthly and quarterly results and management information presentations for Parent Company, Executive Committee and Board of Directors
  • Liaises with Internal and External Communication for press release and presentations preparation.
  • Actively participates in the preparation of the annual presentation for Credit rating agencies.
  • Evaluates, recommends and develops tools, practices and controls that increase reporting efficiency and quality of information.
  • Develops complex reports and statements in accordance with guidelines. May design accounting information systems to facilitate analysis.
  • Investigates trends and irregularities to identify causes, resolve the most complex issues/situations and performs advanced and specialized work that requires comprehensive knowledge of accounting theory, principles and practices.
  • Leads complex projects to develop and implement new systems and tools and tests these to identify any issues.
  • Provides timely information to colleagues, clients, auditors and/or regulators and may maintain relationships with external auditors. Proactively works with colleagues and clients to provide advice and direction regarding financial issues. Identifies and resolves problems that require the development of new solutions.


  • University degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
  • A professional accounting designation
  • Strong English writing skills
  • Strong presentations preparation skills
  • Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken
