Our business development team actively promotes our investment products and help Canadians meet their financial goals. They support a community of planners, brokers, and general agent clients by advising them on our retail products such as segregated funds, mutual funds, term funds, and annuities. Doing so, they help us expand our business and achieve our sales targets. Over the years, we have built an enviable reputation for our professionalism, high-quality offering, constructive marketing advice and knowledge of our clients’ business.

You play a key role in supporting the Regional and Head Office teams to foster lasting professional relationships with the staff of the independent distribution network sales offices, targeted producers and their staff. You are an efficient multitasker and welcome working in teams as you know it drives to results and success.

Your contribution:

  • Support the targeted producers and their staff in their pre-sales and sales activities and accurately provide information on Standard Life products, sales tools and services.
  • Support the Inside Consultants and Senior Consultants(wholesalers).
  • Help the Sales and Sales Support Managers in the coordination of marketing and sales seminars, meetings, conferences, road shows, etc. 
  • Provide diversified administrative and related services to the Regional team such as maintaining the operational systems.
  • Schedule meetings for Senior Consultants.
  • Keep abreast of new and revised technical, administrative and product changes as well as changes within the Retail Markets industry. 

Your background:

  • Technical (college) degree, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience
  • Knowledge of Retail Markets  products and services
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
