This role combines the love of numbers and a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction. You have a solid knowledge of Group Insurance (GI) and/or Group Savings and Retirement (GS&R) products and client accounting principles and regulations. With this strong foundation, you will ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of client reconciliation accounts related to money in and out activities. Your quality and timely services will help us retain our valued customers and achieve our profitability targets in our GI and GS&R sectors. In our multitasking and highly transactional environment, you can count on our skilled and caring team to support you.  

Your contribution:

  • Prepare daily bank deposit of payments received from regular clients and make manual entries in the administration system, in accordance with the established quality standards.
  • Proceed with termination of accounts or group policies in accordance with the established timeline and quality standards.
  • Perform the necessary accounting entries to affect cash flows with appropriate guarantees to update and regularize the accounts recorded in PeopleSoft.
  • In collaboration with the litigation, take appropriate measures to properly handle contentious issues of outstanding premiums.
  • Promotes team spirit, recognition and a positive attitude focused on customer service and Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS).

Your background:

  • Collegiate diploma (DCS) in Administration
  • Three (3) years of experience in group insurance and/or group savings and retirement, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Business and Controls related to money in and out functions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and particularly Excel
  • Strong ability to communicate professionally, in writing and verbally, in both English and French
