We develop distinctive Group Savings and Retirement (GS&R) solutions for our plan sponsors to help them gain a competitive edge, adding value to their employee benefits. Our GS&R business development team joins forces with a network of customer-oriented professionals to achieve our sales target. This team is responsible for building and solidifying partnerships with consultants and brokers from the selection of the investment options and the type(s) of plan, to the implementation and long-term evolution of the program. They also assist and support consultants and brokers in identifying target markets and growing their business.  Over the years, we have built an enviable reputation for professionalism, high-quality offering, constructive marketing advice and knowledge of our clients’ business.

Experienced in the financial services industry, you enjoy meeting people and are at ease presenting to groups.  You are an expert at delivering seminars and may from time to time provide one-on-one guidance to plan members regarding their Standard Life Group Savings and Retirement plan, including investments. 

Your contribution:

  • Design, schedule, coordinate, organize and deliver customized seminars for Plan Members.
  • Following seminars, conduct one-on-one sessions with Plan Members if required.
  • Collect and maintain information database for seminar activities.
  • Participate in finalist presentations for larger clients when required.
  • Provide training and support to other team members when required.

Your background:

  • University degree, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in financial and/or pension industry  or a College diploma, with a minimum of eight (8) years in financial and/or pension industry
  • Life license in one or more provinces
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC), an asset
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP), an asset
  • Must be comfortable with frequent travel
